Maxsons Construction were selected to undertake a £600k+, 12 month JCT contract to convert a substantial Victorian double fronted property into lateral apartments and to build an additional 2 storey house. The brief called for a full range of refurbishment and construction works to bring a period property from stripped shell back to top modern specification. The standalone house also demonstrated Maxsons ability to deliver a new build solution from the foundations up. Maxsons were notable for the depth of their team across all building disciplines, strength of network for sourcing the highest quality materials (domestic and overseas) and smart thinking in adapting or upgrading design solutions on the go whilst staying on budget and within the agreed timeframe. We chose Maxsons Construction to undertake a wrap-around single storey extension to our house in 2018. Our property lies within a conservation area where external building materials and windows had to be sympathetically sourced to maintain the areas' aesthetic appeal. The construction was completed within a tight 4 month timeframe and on budget.
